Hylander Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Probably done it a favour , as long as no one aboard. Some of those old heaps need shifting. Quote

NorfolkNog Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 Very true, I can't say for sure that was the one but it was the only one at Pyes Mill a few weeks ago and looks a likely candidate! Quote
dnks34 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 It was the only one there when we went past last weekend. Quote
MauriceMynah Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 These things happen in stages... The only one there... The only one a bit there.. The only one a bit not there ... and... The only one not there anymore. Now, perhaps here's where I get my wrist slapped. The cynic in me wonders if a boat that had 'just about had it' suddenly becomes insured and by amazing coincidence develops an electrical problem and catches fire late at night. Ok, I accept it might have been insured all along,. but a derelict boat shouldn't just catch fire. Quote
Chelsea14Ian Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 I don't think it was that one in the photo. We went past this morning there was one moored near the photo. However it looked in poor shape.Steal sad to see. Quote
NorfolkNog Posted April 16, 2017 Author Posted April 16, 2017 More here with a couple of photos Martin & Amy assisting @BroadsNP at #Loddon with a sunken fire damaged boat from last night. Any info call #101 https://t.co/yt4ZDe2Xgv Quote
Chelsea14Ian Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 We saw the police boat on the main river heading no doubt there Quote
dnks34 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Its definately not the Dawncraft as Chelsea says, you can see its still there at the end of the moorings in one of the pictures. 1 Quote
