I always thought that they had built the new house very close to the old but they were probably always planning to knock it down once the new one was built. Bluebell Posted October 28, 2019 Share Posted October 28, 2019 A friend of mine ( well, more business colleague) bought the original house that is now a pile of rubble in the 80’s from the the water board. He got a bargain because of the location! (ie next to water pumping station). The new owners have certainly developed the site to its full potential. I’d be happy with the boat house!
