mikeyboy1966
Now I’ve finished off restoring “tango” I thought it would be fun to actually use it so hopefully (weather permitting) I’ll take it down to the RGO next weekend and the following weekend for our last two trips of the season as the big boat is being lifted onto hard standing over winter to allow me to do some maintenance and planned improvements. any advice from more experienced crews welcomed. Smoggy
No stern on on rgo so I'd go for a bridle setup.
stumpy
And leave enough slack in your bridle that the exhaust water doesn't fill it up - I learned that lesson the hard way!
ranworthbreeze
My advice is once you have tried it out is to not bother again dinghies/tenders can be a pain when mooring for both you and other river users. 1
annv
Hi Micky tie two ropes from front of dingy with a loop in each end and fasten/hook each one to your stern cleats this will keep the dingy following in the middle of your transom and as you dont stern moor it wont get in the way you will need a fender to stop dingy bumping your stern for when you slow down/stop, ideally as close to your stern as possible, a little experimenting will get you the best position. Ray
I'd always recommend a soft cushion if you have a tender behind. Come on... someone had to do it 1
Smoggy
If you are going to tow it call it dangleberry for the reasons in the last post.
