Graham47 Posted July 20, 2023 Share Posted July 20, 2023 I remember them from the 70s / 80s. There were more of them at that time and they hired 4 / 5 boats from Brooms. On a couple of occasions we tagged along with them, as did a few others. Their boats were were well stocked with drink, which they were very generous with. They were normally about early and one morning and I ventured out at about 8 o’clock and was offered what they called a heart start which was a large whisky.
