Here is this bit of disturbing news about the Royal Navy's New Queen  Elizabeth Air Craft having a Prop Shaf problem why as in the Old days Steam Ships never had any of these problems due to bad workmanship?  As to the Norfolk Broads boats do they have any problems with them? As to this Brand New Air Craft Carrier Queen Elizabeth

Assuming it has a greaser, mine don't just a raw water feed from the oil cooler and a vent pipe, I would imagine modern builds would use the lip seal type nowadays to keep a dry bilge.

Maybe the name is a Jonah. The much loved QE2, now in retirement in Dubai was plagued with problems during her first 10 years or so:-
