Hylander
I somehow thought I had seen this list before but I cannot find it. Is there such an uptodate list please? It would also help if suppliers of gas could be included.
Hockham Admiral
Try googling "diesel & pumpouts norfolk broads" and you'll get the answer..... not sure if I can quote the answer here!
SPEEDTRIPLE
I would have thought all the hire fleets would be able to help, as they all hyave to service their own boats. I`m not sure about the comercial marinas or private boatyards, but wherever you are, you won`t be far from somewhere to get diesel and a pump out. As for gas, you`ve got the added bonus of several riverside camping/caravan sites which would more than likely be able to help, as well as the hire fleets and comercial boatyards. Regards to all .............. Neil.
Paladin
Hylander, there is a full list in The Green Book. From the home page, click on 'Green Book' in the left-hand column, then in the centre column scroll down to and click on 'Electric Charging, Refuelling & Toilet Disposal'. NorfolkNog
The Green Book list looks pretty comprehensive, a very useful resource. I did notice that Swancraft are not listed at Brundall for some reason. They definitely do pump outs and would sell diesel too I would imagine. It’s also possible to get a pump out at Norwich yacht station but only when it’s attended during the season. Facilities are a bit limited on the Southern rivers in winter – the water is left on at Reedham but the hoses are removed. You need a length of hose or a bucket (been there, got the T shirt). Also a kettle of boiling water when the tap is frozen…….

Hylander
Thank you Paladin I have located The Green Book and did attempt to print out the list on there of facilities but it would only print the first page and then it would not print any of it, so guess you have to enroll to be able to print it out. Hylander
Well I did print out from your link which showed all the list but I still can only get it to print out the first page which ends at Geldeston. Isnt that strange. Thank you for trying. I will try saving your link into word and doing it that way round. M
Hylander
Tried that and to enlarge it I lose the second page. Never mind most of what I require is on there anyway as luck would have it. Thank you for your help. M
Guest
It' a gif image, rather than text, so I'm afraid Word would not help with printing. I use both Firefox and Opera web browsers, and when that link or image is loaded into either, the "print preview" option shows the whole list on a sheet of A4. It can also be done in Internet Explorer, but it's much more cumbersome to use with that prog, as you have to vary the magnification in print preview, (a terrible piece of software ! )
Paladin
Hylander, I suppose you could consider joining the NSBA. It's only £10 a year and you'll get your very own Green Book sent to you annually. There's a lot of information in it and it's a handy thing to have on the boat. Oddfellow
We have pump-out services at Kingfisher Boatyard in Thorpe. Diesel is planned but not confirmed yet. Don't assume that hire yards sell diesel to retail customers.
ranworthbreeze
Hello Andy, Thank you for adding your pump out services to Jill's list I am sure we would all benefit if you did sell diesel. Regards Alan
Hylander
What a star you are Andy. That will be a real bonus having your yard at Thorpe. Thank you for posting.
