Getting Organised for the Season

I'll do that Frank, be a week or so I would think, but would be nice to see you both again. Sorry to hear about the engine problems Frank, just what you don't need at the start of the season eh. The gearbox is the same as I've got in the boat, but because it's so old, I sourced another one to be used as spares, if it was ever needed. Anyway Frank, take it easy eh, and I'll see you whenever.

Hi jonzo I have used Greased Lightning on my car and it does clean and polish very easy I am going to try it out on my boat soon will let you know then.

I have used Greased Lightning (even thought of using it on the boat) and found it to be very good, yes I used microfiber cloths, one for putting it on and one for buffing off.

I use it too; but I will admit that I usually wash the car first to remove the worst of the grit.  It does a good job, but needs to be re-done regularly.

Same here Jonathan! I've been using it for years after I saw it on Ideal world, but I still wash the car first, I use it on the car and boat, it's not as long lasting as proper polish I reckon on a couple of weeks, the boat dosn't seem to get all that grit on it so I just polish it every few weeks, takes me about five minutes to do topsides of my 25 footer,, if you want an end of season polish I'd use proper polish as it will last much longer,,

Watever happened to good old Simonize Original and elbow grease Lasted for ages and ages.
