Richardsons expand into Hoveton

News of Richardsons taking over Fineway, a yard in Hoveton,better known to boaters as Wroxham with a day boat base, building a new range of boats which sound interesting offering more facilities for the hirers.

I think this news has been around for some time but good to see more money being invested by the leading yards - continual investment is necessary and these guys, and a few others, continue to commit new funds.

JB boats in Horning do day boats, there are also day boats from Southgates..

 

Fineway have the lowest priced, best turned out boats in Wroxham

I'll second that. They also hire in winter (or used to). Had heating too

 

We stayed in an apartment a few years ago and hired a dayboat from Fineway pretty much every day. Excellent service too from Steve, not sure if he's still involved.

Steve is still across the river,, he has sold it but is still happy to point us in the right direction if we need it.

They ran a superb operation and Paul is committed to carrying on where Steve and Debbie left off.

We have only ever hired a dayboat (in wroxham) from Fineways as their base looks very neat and tidy and as do the boats... Good luck to all involved. I'm sure we will grab a day boat from them sometime this year.

Heard the news a few weeks ago,when we were in Norfolk.Like Alan we hire from them many times very good boats,staff etc.I hope all goes well for the future.

Hi Andy, No, we just got the boats and the two sheds on the south side, they kept the chalet,, house and other shed..
