million pound mega yachts

c4 yesterday just watched some of it o my god how much money have these people got,the yachts on this program are amazing, and i thought the private boats at oulton are big the owners of these yachts would use them as tenders.

I watched it too and agree absolutely amazing, makes our Boats we hire look like those little remote controlled ones lol. If I was ever lucky enough to win multi millions on the Euro Lottery, I don't think I would buy something like that, a bit too plush for me, anyway, If I left my cabin they would have to send a search party out, I'd get ruddy lost lol

I thought the program was less about the yachts and more about the people with enough money to own them!

What struck me was how much emphasis was placed on owners impressing guests. Why? I mean, isn't that a bit juvenile? If I had that kind of squill ions, I'd get an old square rigger and keep it alive, there would be more sense in that, to me.

If I had that money I would have a new J class built in Holland and campaign it worldwide. It would actually probably cost more as you need a large motor yacht to act as base for all the crew and the airfares and hotels for the team as the boats move from venue to venue add up. Seriously I would have a new wooden cruiser built to my spec that the two of us can handle. Something like a Bates Starcraft. (can no longer sail with comfort) and split the ten million twix RNLI, McMillan , M Curie, and Cancer Research.

I saw this one too. What struck me, apart from the cost, was the poor taste of some of the owners when it comes to internal furnishings. That and the obvious lack of spiders on these boats.
