  1. But we dont know that Jonny, all brown mugs to be thrown out funny though , you have to laugh with them
  2. Sorry peeps but I obviously put my point in the wrong way as I was not suggesting anybody might join the .org team only that we could perhaps compliment each other , but enough said
  3. Guysand girls , I am a bit confused as to where we go from here. I think we have to face up to the fact that there has been a split in the ranks, which is a great pity, since the difference of opinions between some members. Personnely I have joined the .org site but intend to contribute to both sites equally. I do not and have not taken sides in the matter and cannot see why both sites cannot run together and indeed compliment each other. My concern is that we , the photo group, after a good start now sink into oblivion because of the split. The awards and some of the site meets are now under the ospice of the .org group but I hope that we can arrange some cross posting of these events Now that our instigater is back online, thank goodness , maybe he can initiate some thoughts and set us back on track
  4. I have used them on a few occasions and always good service and willing to help via email or phone

  7. You did a lot better than me with the kingfisher Mark, I was out last Friday and saw maybe 6 of the little blighters and didn't get one decent shot out of probably 12 I took, grrrrrrr
  8. I've been a little under the weather? Maybe a bit of an understatement methinks

  12. Hi Robin, Thanks for your reply, I would indeed like to know any details as I think I might have to go down that road in the near future

  16. I'm sure Jill meant piccies before the accident Simon , I cant believe you didn't take any of the start of your holiday and some stunning ones toboot
  17. Good to hear from you again Simon and the different keyboard must be just a minor glitch if you can get on the net. As far as the new lenses are concerned I could always break them in for you so they don't go rusty. We are struggling to keep the photo group active without you and hopefully you can take back the reins fairly soon, keep your spirits up
  18. Simon , just great to hear from you in person so to speak even though Perry has been doing a sterling job keepin us all informed . When we first heard of your accident I thought just another skiing accident broken leg or arm, how wrong was I but just glad now to see you are gradually on the mend and tell the docs to make sure you can hold a camera again and everything else will mend I'm sure, regards to both you and Sue who I'm sure has been doing a sterling job,
  19. When we were in the cloisters did you notice me with Marks tripod in the middle of the lawn. I took a number of shots in the 360deg and then stitched them together, only thing is I cut off the spire
  20. There are obviously a lot of interested photographers out there that are more than capable of taking good pics and even if you don’t think you are capable I assure you that you are. So building on that fact, I wondered if there would be any interest in arranging a ramble which as well as us usuals , could be targeted on Dads/ Mums and kids or Dads and Mums and kids. After our tour of Norwich on Sunday which Mark organised and Conner came to with his Dad , I “think†Conner enjoyed but maybe would have enjoyed just a little more if there had been some more of his age rather than us old fogies. We have 2or 3 very capable photographers on hand to offer advice at any level but I am sure there are more out there that would be very welcome . You don’t need expensive equipment and sometimes that is a hindrance anyway , just a p&s is quite sufficient . Time and venue not even thought about yet just seeing if there is an interest.
  21. Nice one Col you were certainly lucky to catch them, they look very contented
  22. Just a couple more but you will have to click on the first one, it was just an experiment that didn't quite go as I had hoped,
  23. You are right of course Bruce but it was one of those spur of the moment things but I think if we had turned it round it might have just tipped the balance and poor ole Conner would have tipped forward
  24. Really enjoyed walking round Norwich this morning and seeing bits I hadn't seen before, so thank you Mark for organising . Just as a quicky but I thought it might be interesting to know that Paul might have to look over his shoulder
