  1. Aston Norwich was the seperate head and shower compartments. Wizard wasn't, it was like Seamaster by the sounds of it. Some of the bedroom doors were blocked off also. so you could only enter from the centre cockpit. They are delightful boats to handle. Iain
  2. Hi Folks, I have to laugh at ALL these colours now. In my younger working days it was black rubber or white pvc. Black&Decker introduced Orange PVC with the early gun type hedge trimmers, the theory being that people would see the orange cable and NOT cut through it.... Aye right.... Not! Still, they kept me gainfully employed Now we have all the colours of the rainbow. Its still live cable no matter what colour it is, just treat it with respect please. Iain
  3. Hi Ian, Enjoy, I shall be close but not close enough, as we are stopping over at a Premier Inn, Kings Lynn, on the Sunday night. Iain
  4. Free Broads trips on a Drascombe....IF you cut my grass! Iain
  5. Captain Dread, Never use slightly knackered cables You could end up with a totaly knackered boat, or worse, you! Speeking as a retired spark, for the difference in price it just aint worth it IMO. Iain.
  6. Hi Inormski, Sorry for going off topic, but I have to keep Gracie in check (I wish!) Yes, your smitten, all the signs are there, sorry no cure, there again would you wish a cure? 7. Hi Grace, Being a Moderator, I of course fully understand you crying and screamming and jumping up and down like a demented god knows what! Too that I may add, calm down young lady, big deep breaths....BREATHS I said, think of your nearest Clarks shoe store when you return home, you wont feel any better leaving the boat behind, BUT, you will have added another pair of shoes to your collection!!! Iain

  11. Hi Robin, I see you have been to Regent Street and Oxford Street, to revamp your boating wardrobe. Blue really suits your complextion I hope that poor old voice of yours is back to full working order. Hurry up, SWMBO is waiting to view the next one. Iain
  12. Hi Gareth, If you haved watched London Rascals latest blog Belmore TC was 8ft 10" So it looks like an early departure from Straceys Arms or Stokesby for you to clear the two bridges. It is approx 1 and a half hours or so to Gt Yarmouth from Straceys Arms where Robin was moored. So a 6am departure I regret to say. Still on the plus side, it will be way past dawn by then. Iain.
  13. Hi Ian, If you wish a clear passage past sailies , just get Gracie to helm your boat! Iain

  15. Now, unless things have changed since last year, there is no water point, are the bins refuse area still there, and are the toilets still shut before the stipulated opening and closing times, oh and put money in the donation box. Err I don't think so. However, does it just say a donation, not compulsary, yet? A pic of said notice would make things a lot clearer IMHO. Iain
  16. Well Alan, you have lots of brilliant times ahead of you. Get that gearing MODERATED Can't have you bombing all over Broadland now, can we? Happy Boating sounds good does it not? Beats all the days, months etc refitting Orca out! Iain.
