This afternoon I went for a hearing test. This is the first one in decades, but Phill thought technology having moved on I might get a different answer than last time. Way back I suddenly lost a lot of hearing, inner ear damage from a drug reaction (probably tetracycline) and no available help. Today, no good news, unless I want to go for a cochlear implant, and I don't. Why mention it? Well guys if I look at you a bit 'gone out' at the meet or clearly don't collect your meaning, please repeat slowly, and louder (not you Griff or Mike!) I am not necessarily being thick, just deaf.

Ok. There is no need for a pm, Socrates. As the person sorting the bookings I can only say that I added to the list as people said which nights they wanted. There is no problem at the moment about adding boats, there is no question of squeezing anyone in. I am happpy to add you as soon as you say which night(s) you want. i am at a loss to understand why this is a reason for complaint or conflict. This is an open meet, all members are genuinely welcome, end of.
