We were lucky,because we have the fly bridge we could get on and off on the top.Many boats being lower not easy.Tonight at our moorings the water is low.

We are now moored at our moorings at Cove Brundall. Pleased to say this in the last two weeks,we were not hit,we for once had a trouble free holiday. Last year we were hit four times.This year we have seen speeding boats in the dark.

Last week we saw two of there boats,out on the river.Two were moored by Pedro's.

They are in the old Alpha shed.NYA have the moorings for some of there boats and Vogue were building boats from the shed.

Not sure,it mentioned the boat builders and Pedro's.

According to the EDP, Brundall boat builders. Trading as Vogue have gone belly up.They have only been going for a year.They also own Pedro's .Not nice seeing a company go out of business.

We went past yesterday, saw the same sign.No idea what they are doing. As Peter said think it's being run into the ground. We went past Berney Arms the other day.A group of boats in a poor state there also.Such a shame used to be such a good pub.

Look.who moored along side us again. Stopped for lunch and a pint at the Ferry house. Now sadly at Cove home tomorrow .Still we are coming up for a long weekend end of October. Will take our Daughter and Husband down to Loddon then we will stop at the Ferry house.

We went today from Loddon to Norwich, along the way,we went through all four seasons. We arrived at the YS,just gone past 3 o'clock. Since then fine weather. Just got back from the shops.Marina treated herself to a Steiff bear.Back up later for dinner back to cove tomorrow and sadly home on Friday . By the way the tide is very low here today

We are moored at Loddon, only a few boats when we got here,now full up other boats still trying to get in. Look.who's moored beside us.Not Alan.None the less a nice couple. Just to let people know.Rosies is shut until September 15.

We have used Horning,Ludham,every time we've gone there its shut.Theres also Wroxham and Stalham.

Today we came from Beccles to Hardley cross, we did intend to take aday boat to the locks.We did a pump out and fuel at Steve's, waited until he lifted some boats out for repair,plus asked him about some possible work on our boat.Then it started to rain.So made for Hardley cross instead.We had a nice meal on board Rump steak,roasted new potatoes, mushrooms, onions green beans and broccoli. The steak we brought at the butchers. So pleased a number of good butcher shops on the broads. As a chef I love good old fish shops,veg and butcher shops.Sadly many have gone in London.

Hi Paul,when Alan Frist got Orca,we went with Alan and Dave,dought I will stop there again.Food was fine,I asked if I could get diesel the next day. Yes that fine next day sorry the pump is broken.Plus they charge for water.We are now at Beccles arrived just before 17.30.A long day.

Moored at Stracey waiting for the tide.Called into the shop,found out what was the Tapas bar is now again the Hermitage sadly they don't serve food. Some pics leaving Thurne.

What time do they stop?We are heading for Beccles this afternoon.

Today we head back south,hoping to get to Beccles late afternoon.So it's going to be a long day.This week on the Northern broads,been fairly quiet. Having said that some idiots Friday evening speeding in the dark heading for Wroxham. Last night some heading for Potter.All of which twenty something, Male groups.

Just had a meal at the Lion,very good too.Very busy,the Lion was voted best Eastern pub 2019 Well done Rick and the team.Lots of hunter boats came in this afternoon. Some of which a pain In the back side,hitting other boats and mooring in the wrong place.

For some years we have had long ropes,a pain at years but very useful at times.

Moored at Thurne, far from.easy very windy.Took us a few attempts to moor.Called into the Lion for a drink.Marina and I spent a fortune in the Ramblers as always Just help three boats to moor, being so windy.Off early tomorrow crossing B/waters.

Think he's going to be there until after half term.

We moored at the New Inn yesterday and left this morning. As always the food was very good.However sad to hear that Gus is leaving next month. We like many have known Gus for many years.Think.the river will miss him.Ww wish him good luck for the future.
