We have a Alpha 29,we grease in two places.One in the engine bay going back behind the engine. The second accessed via the steps leading to the rear cabin.Dont know if that's useful. Welcome by the way

We are on our hols from Saturday 31 August for two weeks heading north for our first week,then back south for our second week.Look out for those that dont know,Sweetkingfisher.

Perhaps the boat could be restored to its original state and become some sort of floating museum.

At long last our boiler is being replaced today and tomorrow. The chap that was going to do it,let us down three times.We went elsewhere, for us a blessing in disguise saving us £500.We have also had three windows replaced .All part of our hope to get the house ready to sell and move to Norfolk. It's been a busy summer for us, a long weekend in Berlin in June,and our daughter gets married the end of August. A few days later we are up on the boat for two weeks,think we will need a rest.

I got £4000 back from a well known high street bank,six years ago.The bank asked if I was mis sold .Filled in some paperwork,and got the money,plus did not cost me a penny.

I have been boating for years,as Alan said any boat is capable of going to sea.For me I would not do so with my boat.A Alpha 29,single engine.If I had a twin engined boat,I would give it a go with some training.I have a VHP licence but would gain some more training. By the way from me,Ian

As I have said before Marina and I will call in on our hols.Not sure this menu can be a success.By all means try something different, but you need to offer choice.It seems to me the chef/landlady are trying to hard to impress, for me it doesn't.

Believe me Alan this menu is not posh,its a load of old rubbish. The wild boar has everything apart from the kitchen sink.None of which would make it taste good.

I agree,Marina and I used to enjoy going to the brewery and restaurant.Was the lady in question, middle aged with glasses?if so that's the woman we have seen a few times.Think she needs a bit of customer service training.
