  1. Great to read your write up Susan. You had a week of two halves with the weather. Sunday was definitely sooooo cold and windy. We’ve been out on the southern rivers and I’ll write that up at some point. Glad your trip home was ok.
  2. Have I missed something? I’m still none the wiser as to this reference to Easter Island figures. Can anyone explain please?
  3. A huge thanks for providing this. The level of detail has made it really useful. I’ve brought a copy with me and am referring to it all the time.
  4. Love that sunset. Hope you're both enjoying this trip. Tony is certainly getting some variety.
  5. Wow! That confirms it. I’m never bothering with Breydon. Hire North or hire South and stay there. 🤭🤣
  6. Wow! That looks amazing. Thank you so much for all your time and effort producing this. And for sharing it with us.
  7. Very difficult situation, and must be so worrying for you. Hard to be at such a distance.
  8. Love mooring at Beccles. Have a great day. 🤗
  9. Thanks for your quiz tonight Bern. You definitely had your hands full with so many players. 👍 And well done to Arthur.
  10. Advance warning COLTISHALL BRIDGE CLOSED - MAY 13th to MAY 17th https://www.northnorfolknews.co.uk/news/24259895.coltishall-bridge-will-close-roadworks-may
  11. Hope you have a more peaceful night and a lovely weekend on the southern side.
  12. You also get access to be able to download videos to watch offline. Plus access to YouTube Music. I’ve taken it up and it’s well worth it for us.
  13. Thanks for your kind comments. All I know is that to monetise your channel you have to reach certain criteria such as a minimum number of subscribers and minimum watch time. You can become a partner and then get money via memberships, super thanks etc. I have no interest in any of that. My videos are just a hobby and mostly made for my own amusement and as a nice record of my own holidays and trips out. And out of principle I would never include other people’s mishaps or difficulties.
  14. Did you happen to notice whether The Granary is back open during the day now please?
  15. Wroxham felt much busier when I was there at lunchtime. More traffic, more people, and more boats.
  16. I love my food but I think I might struggle with that.
  17. How was the height of your boat going under all the bridges into Norwich please? I’ve not done that stretch and those bridges don’t seem to get mentioned as ones to watch. But when we stayed near the river a few years back I didn’t think they looked that high and did see one boat turn round.
  18. If you happen to be at Wayford Bridge, or want to drive from Stalham, you would find wellies in the garden centre there - we often visit because we like the coffee shop, but the garden centre and farm shop make a nice little wander as well.
  19. If anyone would like the more gentle content without any drama please subscribe to my channel. I never include footage of people’s mishaps or difficulties. If the weather would only improve I might manage to get out to film a bit more. https://youtube.com/@jeanmann6985
  20. I just saw this advertised as well. Might well have snapped something up if I didn’t already have plans.
  21. Paid a visit to the Kings Head in Hoveton today. The Sunday roast was fine. Other menu items were a little hit and miss. But it’s pub grub, less expensive than other places. The staff were very friendly. The service was good. And the refurbishment is looking lovely. I would go back if I want cheap and cheerful but possibly not for a special occasion.
  22. 4 eggs now at Norwich. It may be an interesting watch this year after all.
  23. What beautiful photos Helen. That looked like an amazing morning for your cruise south.
  24. I think I may have spotted Mermaid coming through Ludham Bridge on Johnny Treehouse’s latest video that went up yesterday. Will have to watch out for Springers Retreat. Hope you have a lovely time afloat Kate.
