If you miss it you can stream it in its entirety from YouTube https://youtu.be/US74bAu4wTM -
Surely that more authentic if it's fitted with a "Yorkshire Whine" in the controller ??

One thing to bear in mind is that most (but not all) insurers insist on a survey prior to agreeing a policy
-
But I presume you were already on their system as a current or previous toll payer
-
They said I could download a PDF print it off and send it in via snail mail , but due to the time element this was not a viable solution

Had to drive from Cambridge to Yare House to pay my toll for Cerise Lady as they won't permit it online or by phone for a new owner , grrrrr annual toll is £360 ish but had a pleasant surprise, the previous owner had purchased a short visit toll which is able to be taken off the annual toll so "only" had to part with £122 , so went from being p**d off having to drive up to Norwich to feeling well pleased.

Unfortunately with connection it takes 1hr 30m and time will be a factor ( low water at Yarmouth )

I agree Goldstar are a very good company , I know them well , sadly in our case as our starting point is Wroxham they cannot compete on price . looks like it will have to be wroxham taxis currently
-
Does anyone know of a good reliable taxi service please , we need to get a taxi from Wroxham to Brundle on Wednesday morning

Much prefer a cuddle up instead of a heater

When I was a publican I was a very keen , but not very good , clay shooter . had a beautiful Savinelli 12 bore , sadly when I sold up and moved into the centre of Cambridge there was no where for me to bolt a gun cabinet to the wall and the police licence officer wouldn't accept that my gun was secure if dismantled and the stock and cartridges kept in a Chubb safe (bolted to solid concrete floor and hidden behind hinged bookcase). all was not lost as I gave my gun to a life long friend who owns a few hundred acres in the highlands where he is very happy with it .

Cerise Lady (aka Red Bird) Has A New Custodian
CambridgeCabby replied to CambridgeCabby's topic in New Members Say Hi !
We are delighted with her , we will however be posting a few questions please as to where to source various things , so far we need to purchase some Rhond anchors , and a mud weight and would appreciate pointing in the right direction , also we wish to replace the fenders and again welcome suggestions of suppliers -
This evening on the way back home we drove to Salhouse Broad car park and walked down to the Broad. there was about twenty boats moored up for the evening , of these four were running their engines and all from the same yard (HW) I'm wondering if they are telling their hirers to do this ? the other boats were mainly Richardsons and a couple of Faircraft none of these were running their engines .

Cerise Lady (aka Red Bird) Has A New Custodian

We have finally done it !!!!!!!!! today at 13:30 we were officially financially poorer but very very proud to be the new owners of Cerise Lady . we will be collecting her early next week and travelling from the South Broads to her new moorings in Hoveton , first time for me with twin engines so give us a wide berth !!! on leaving Brundle boat sales my rear suspension spring broke on my car , I must give huge praise to Manor Garage of Brundle who within 90mins had sourced me (a total stranger) a replacement part and fitted it (£105.00 all in) , fantastic service from a traditional garage that still values giving great service -
Clive , I didn't mean to infer that yours and other yards didn't help various charities and children etc , as I know that you do as do others and I apologise if you took it that way. what I was saying that the new (old) offering from HW would be more suitable as a PR tool than a hire craft and yards such as Martham has always gone down the woody route. plus of course a fully restored vintage woody no matter how experienced the helm will act as a magnet if moored at various hot spots for those not so careful at the helm .

The Police pension must be very very good so as to afford to buy a property there
