  1. I think it's time the mods took control of this topic! The forum TOS strictly forbid personal attacks on other members, yet you allow a complete thread dedicated to attacking me. Yours sincerely Bodgit, Bodgit and sons. Hi Martin Your post would have been better if you had put your real name. Bodgit, Legit and Scarper. Regards Alan Grendel you beat me to it
  2. Hello David, Welcome to the forum from Tan & myself. Like Iain I can not help with the measurements, how big a section are you replacing? Regards Alan
  3. Do any of you know if the proposed improvements to the Beccles Yacht Station facilities have been started/finished? There were rumors that the toilet block opposite the yacht station/tourist information building was going to be closed to the general public, possibly demolished and new facilities built onto the yacht station building. Work was said to be begin for the start of the season this year. Regards Alan
  4. Hello A.J.B., Thank you for your insight. I can think of no-one that has any issues with people at the sharpe end be they employed by The Broads Authority or any other large employer for that matter. When personally dealing with the Broads Authority be it the Tolls Office or at with the Rangers I have always found you to be understanding and professional. Regards Alan
  5. When I first saw the picture of this fungus I thought someone had been practising voodoo, all that was missing was pins stuck in the effigies http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/fungus_found_in_norfolk_is_a_world_first_1_4013494 Regards Alan
  6. Hi Batrabill, For the benefit of other forum members, what does your message mean? "Exactly how many Angels can you fit on the head of a pin?" Regards Alan
  7. Bring on the yachts and the bridges I say its the only time I tend to be able to be at the helm. What we need is some tunnels on the Broads, that way I might have control of the boat for more than 5 minutes Regards Alan
  8. Hi Bob. Thank you for the information of the course, I hope some of our forum members will take up the offer. Regards Alan
  9. Hello Kfurbank, A good topic to start and I am sure will be helpful to other boat owners. All good modifications from what you describe, I have moded your message as requested. One of the modifications we did on Ranworth Breeze was to fit two, two foot tubular heaters (60 watts per foot) into our engine bay, these are controlled by a frost stat set at 5 degrees. Regards Alan
  10. Hi Alan, Just fit a towbar on the front and back of the boat so you can push or pull that extra load around with you. Regards Alan
  11. I came downstairs this morning and thought that is a heavy frost on the top of the car, glasses on I could see it was snowing. Regards Alan

  16. Hello dnks34, Welcome to the NBN forum from Tan & myself. Regards Alan
  17. It would still appear that the Barnes Brinkcraft webcam has an issue, there is just a picture of a seat (looks like the ones outside the Hotel Wroxham) with the camera not operable. There is activity on the Peregrine webcam, it looks as if the Peregrine is sitting on eggs at the moment. Regards Alan
  18. Hi Monica, Tan used similar but smaller ones to weigh out portions of porridge laced with nutmeg or cinnamon, rather than taking a full box aboard. Regards Alan
  19. Hi Robin, I hope you feel better soon. There seems to be a lot of people feeling under the weather at the moment. Regards Alan

  23. Hi Alan, I guess that most sane people who have worked in the industry would agree with you, I have always hated computers especially the software side. Give me something mechanical or electronic then I am happy. Regards Alan
