  2. G'day Keith, In Sheffield it is sunny this morning, it won't last, this is one of the first breaks in the weather we have had all week. Rain and more rain. Trolley buses were a thing that Rotherham had, I can remember as a child being driven through the centre of Rotherham that there were so many cables and wires going across and down the streets that it made it look dull. These buses of course could go all over the road unlike the trams. The old trams in Sheffield ceased service on the 8th October 1960 and Supertram started its first phase of service on 21st March 1994 from the City Centre to Meadowhall. Regards Alan

  8. Hi Alan, Being used to Norfolk prices at £65 I would ****** his hand off, our lift in & out for our Winter Service was £285. As you say the it would cost you over £65 just to hire scaffold poles and the block & tackle. On the day you put in the Engine you had better have some pinch bars, a few rollers and some skates if you can borrow any and the odd offcut of 4 x 2. Regards Alan
  9. Hi Jon, Sorry to hear about your eyes, it tends to feel like grit in them, masks or head mounted are great but you can't see a thing until you have struck up an arc. I have done a bit in the past same with brazing but preferred the brazing. Hope you get better soon. A day off. What's the world coming to. Regards Alan
