Program on Norfolk Radio this morning some of you may like to listen to

Some timings on the radio proigram that you might find handy,
Starting 7 minutes into the program David Talbot from the NSBA, then another piece later (untimed). The meaty bits are (noted by hh:mm into the program)
01:07 to 01:13 Trudy Wakelin
01:38 to 01:46 Dr Packman and
02:08 to 02:14 David Talbot NSBA repeated.
How do you get linky bits to work?
As I understand it, the power tool itself would normally come free in a packet of cornflakes, it';s the battery that costs the money, and invariably it's the battery that gives up the ghost first. Not holding a charge is favourite!
We all live in hope that battery technology will improve.
Ok, not a helpful post but be fair, when are mine ever
Hi Zilly, We hired Glenmore, the DC30 version as in your avitar, in about 94. My mother always claimed it went like whatsit off a doo dah, and with very little wash. (I often worried about my mother )
VetChugger,
Was your Glenmore ever in the Ernest Collins fleet?
That footage should be shown many times on national TV, preferably naming him. There's nothing like a bit of public humiliation as a punishment.
I wish I'd seen it!
Don't worry Gracie, I'm proving myself to be the biggest duffer here !!
I put my holiday in, went to edit it but accidentally added it in again. Now I'm on my boat twice at the same time.
Mods, please help!!!!! (first week in April)
Couldn't agree more Pauline. Some people are more vulnerable to burglaries than others, for example, it is rare for this house to be unoccupied, normally if I'm on the boat, Frances is at home. If we are both away, then one of her daughters house sits, so all in all, I don't mind posting when I'm coming to the boat.

The stripey curtain material is the same as I had on my last boat. Where did you get it, I rather liked it and would like to have it on my current one.
"So I put the phone to my other ear, put my drink down and told her I could...
That's when Mr Plod came up behind me...."
Thanks Geoff, I loved that.
Your "up" spoiler does indicate not that you are speeding but that you had been speeding.
gedoutta that one!
This is just a thought I wanted to bounce around...
I have a thread running about when I'll be on the boat and was thinking about a thread in the "other place" called "Who's about this weekend" or something similar.
That thread suffered from becoming too large as time went on with peeps saying when they'd be on the broads.
For each member to post in their own thread when they'd be there is cumbersome, so something in-between might work, the objective being general socialising.
What I came up with was "Who's up in Jan?", "Who's up in Feb?" and, "Who's up in Mar?". etc.
Sometime in Feb, the "Who's up in Jan" gets deleted and the "Who's up in Apr?" is started.
How far in advance we go is pretty variable, as is how long the out dated ones are kept up. What this would acheive (for those who wanted it) would be a quick and easy route to casual meeting ups and swapping beers and insults.
Just a thought. and I wondered if it could be automated!
