My father spend 22 years in the RN. Went over in the hovercraft from Ramsgate (Pegwell Bay) to France. On the way back it reached as high as the craft could cope with and he was seasick, Mum was fine. He never lived that on down. In fairness a lot of his service was below the waves.

A world in which we all agree would be an extremely boring one. Being able to disagree with courtesy and empathy is the real skill. I fear that in this world too much is said or written to offend rather that debate.

It is amazing what people and organisation will do if a) they do not think it will be noticed b) they are big enough for them to get away with it.

to make a difference the opposite views to theirs have to be present and with a large enough voice. It also has to be well articulated and presented in a way that cannot be ignored.
