At Rockland Staithe With The Admiral

Many thanks to John and Mary Jane for a lovely afternoon and meal at Rockland St Mary 

A lovely day,great company ,good food and of course loads of booze !☺

We did all leave the staithe in an undignified scrammle to avoid being grounded in the extremely low tide this morning,  and stirred up the bottom of the dyke quite  a bit as our depth sounder showed "out" well into  the channel to Short Dyke

Iain, it takes more that a gentle hour or two in the pub at lunchtime, followed by my half strength gentle G&T's, followed by A&L's magnum of fizzy, followed by.............................................. now where was I?

As I sit at home, after another lunchtime (this one in the Hockham Eagle), sipping my half strength G&T, I resemble that remark......

Glad after all that effort you did get the cork out though John.
