ChrisB
Edmistons have what is considered to be the most beautiful yacht in the world on their books at a reduced price of €17.5m. She is the 1934 Americas Cup contender the J Class Endeavour, commisioned by aircraft manufacturer Sir T.O.M. Sopwith. The running costs of campaigning a J makes the purchase price insignificant, but if money were no object!
Polly
Hmmm, money no object? Well, I'd keep Brilliant and get her perfect, also buy a mooring of her very own with a boathouse above, there are a couple on S Walsham that would do nicely. Albion for disadvantaged kids along with a small cloud of dinghies. I would buy the Nancy Blackett, keep her at Pin Mill of course. Further afield I would have a motor sailer, a YM or similar and keep her in St Lucia.
JennyMorgan
Polly, so right to keep Brilliant, big boats offer comfort & fridges for the Pims but never the fun of smaller boats.
ChrisB
I have decided not to go ahead. 14ft 9ins draft is going to be a bit of a draw back on the East Coast.
jeffbroadslover
If money was not a problem I would have a dozen new broads cruisers built, keep one and then "loan" them along with a mooring on a permanent basis to 11 of my NBN friends. Anybody know anyone who is a friend of mine? Jeff
