Griff can't get a signal at Horning so has asked if I'd pass on an invite to you all, if any one wants a trip from Horning to Stalham tomorrow, Monday 13th, then please be at Southgate's yard by 1.00.

What a kind offer.  Hopefully someone was able to take it up and BA is all serviced up and back in Stalham.

The trip must have been good. The wind temperature on Oulton Broad was cuttingly cold but the sky was blue and the sun was out so I suspect that that was the same on the Ant.

I can tell you all as I was fortunate enough to make the journey. As you would expect the wind was a biting easterly but the sun was out and I was in the wheel house. This left Charlie (Griff) doing all the outside work,he forgot his marigolds so his hands were a mite cold. It was so nice we even took a detour to South Walsham.

A very pleasant trip in good company with the odd appalling joke thrown in, acceptable in exchange for a few hours on the river in my book. Incidentally BA is a real pleasure  to helm these days.
