Seems it ran in  the family, my nan's younger brother continued to ride his Norton combination daily into the West End of London where he worked as a cabinet maker  for Maples until he was in his 90s.

Hi all, just for us Forum Hairy Bikers, here she is.I`m still running her in, have`nt even done 500 miles on her yet, but when i have, it`s first service time, and the upright bars off the "Street Twin", as they fit straight on. Although the "ace" style bars on the cup are nowhere near as extreme as the Daytona, when you`ve ridden around the local lanes for half an hour, they too can become a bit uncomfortable, so they`re being changed.

Very nice Speedtriple, I'm old school and reading all that took me back to my T140v, triumph at its best imo, even with the oil drips lol

Aching arms.....wrists...back.....

I used to suffer from that despite riding bikes for over 50yrs!

My last three bikes were a 900 Trophy, followed by a 1200 Trophy

and then I had to admit defeat and bought one of these. 

I went to Germany via Harwich/Hook of Holland to my cousins in

Bochum and only stopped twice due to the temperature being in

the eighty's for a quick drink and fuel. Left home at 0400 and arrived 

at 1830. (Fast ferry)

Got off the bike and had no aches or pains whatsoever. A real mile

muncher and so easy to ride. Only sold it in 2015 after 14 years

fault free riding. (I'm now almost 70!)
