L8DAVE
Evening all , does anybody have any details on the dredging work on the Chet ..... I believe they're due to start very soon , and warnings have been issued , of up to 2 hour delays on the river ? I'm off down to my boat in Langley in a fortnight , and was going to have a little trundle round to Loddon to use showers etc . But , if it's going to take me over 3 hours , with delays , I may have to rethink my plans , or jump in the car

dnks34
Please dont shoot me for saying this but typing "chet dredging" into google would have found the nsba snippet and answered your question much faster!

trambo
So there removing those steel posts. From a navigation and scenic perspective, very good news. Fred
SwanR
If that's the red and green posts just as you turn in from the Yare then that is very good news. I love the Chet ... apart from the posts which make everything feel so narrow and restricted. I know they are always there for a reason but if they're not needed anymore, which was something I read a long while ago, then taking them out will help.
