Hylander
What is going on , if it needs fixing get on with it. Cannot be a lot wrong , lovely moorings. JennyMorgan
I don't think it's anything to do with H&S as such, probably more to do with corporate liability and their duty of care.
riverman
Subsidence? They only repaired them in the summer? Speaks volumes.

marshman
Anyone going to say "Well done BA for sorting that!" Or perhaps why bother even to put a Notice out!!!
JennyMorgan
Well done, BA, for sorting out a problem that appears to be one of their own making! Anyway, top result.

JennyMorgan
It's so very easy to be sarcastic, but I doubt that any of us is anything but glad to see the mooring re-opened.
MauriceMynah
Peter, I couldn't be sarcastic if I tried. :-) 1
LondonRascal
I can confirm that there was no issue at the moorings, it was a simply typographical error. You see the moorings were in need of extra money and a notice was sent internally at the Broads Authority that a subsistence payment was required for the moorings upkeep. Somebody miss-read this in the Administrative Officer Operations department and a notice was issued that the moorings were suffering from subsidence. This is why the issue was so quickly resolved, you will now notice collection tins at the moorings. 1
