Out on the boat near Lincoln my jabsco pump won't pull the water up to the filter I can't find the fault

Hi it's the cooling the impeller looks good but I can see into the filter and no water coming up

Is there a seacock or closing valve somewhere that has been closed by mistake ?

Grendel was just pulled impeller out and all back of the blades are damaged

Make sure you try and get all the broken parts out or it could block the engine.

And grease the new one lightly before fitting, both on the impeller blades and the drive splines.

Only use water pump grease or impeller grease not ordinary petroleum grease.John

If you buy the impeller in a kit with the gaskets you get the proper grease included.. Regards Bob

Bought kit from Burton waters £50 passed curtain wire though bowman cleaned it out found inlet pipe had come loose on the filter
