North Burlingham A47 Improvements

Great 3D animation just like the real road, down to the idiot in the black car in the outside lane passing no one.

It's a bit over the top to build a complete new dual carriageway,  you could keep the old 47 as one side and save a lot of money.  But I do like the road junction  to cantley.  Dodging sugar beet lorries determined to cross the carriageway is dangerous.

The old A47 is being kept -  as a local access road.

Long overdue given the holdups and very serious accidents that do occur on this stretch.

They did the same thing with the old Thanet Way in Kent,  it saved a lot of disruption during construction and means there is a secondary route in case of accidents.

As a regular driver to the Broads Imho the highway department should dual all of the out of date / unable to cope single roads up to dual carriageway between the A1 and GYA

I am lucky, the A11 is already dual carriageway from the M25 all the way to Norwich, it could do with some resurfacing in places, and widening in others though.
