Counterfeit Money

Just a warning a friend was passed a counterfeit fiver yesterday. At 1st glance/ touch it feels really real and looks quite good. Points I spotted were the colour in the blue round emblem has rubbed off and the window has no details. (The top one in photo is real) Thought it's worth sharing widely as it's the 1st I've seen and I expect there are more in the £10 too. See you all out and afloat soon!

But to be honest the're not very good forgeries when you know what to look out for.

There were reports that these impossible to forge notes had very good forgeries in circulation in less than a fortnight of their introduction.

By the looks of it these are not forgeries in the true sense, these have just been copied and printed and not even on a decent laser printer hence colour rubbing off, as for the paper that is used in the new notes it's probably easier to obtain something similar to the feel of the new notes which quite honestly are pretty rubbish
