A couple of years ago my eldest son and daughter in law called in for breakfasts to be taken back to the boat, Caroline was going to come down to the boat to collect the plates and tray, she is very good but Stuart dropped them in for her.

I will, if I get a chance. I’ve gone into planning mode for our fortnight on Moonlight Shadow later this month and am checking out places that do takeaway options. The Bailey’s Deli (in Beccles) afternoon tea takeout sounds pretty good. Not cheap, but looks like good value considering the amount of food included.

As long as you're in the staithe you have a good chance, I can't see them walking out to pyes mill somehow....

Errr.no, nor can I. It’s not exactly a level walk across that field and lots of cow pats too.

Sounds a great place to visit (Rosy Lee’s). Will pay them a visit or if too lazy ask for a breakfast delivery. Well be on the Broads 2 weeks today. Thanks for the recommendation

From the moorings to Rose's Lee's, its only  a very short walk.Just go across and get it your self.

Reading this thread makes me wonder how Caroline manages social distancing in that most sociable of cafes?

Sadly the cafe is takeaway only at the moment, though the garden is open, I'm sure delivery to boats could be arranged with a smile and polite request although as said earlier it's only a few steps from the mooring to the cafe to fetch takeaways.
