Much needed rain overnight. A spokeswoman for  Anglian water on BBC breakfast  this morning, again said she thinks there won't  be a hosepipe ban this year.If it's a dry winter that may be a problem .

We don't have dry summers, surely we won't get a dry winter

In general  they've  said this year has been the driest since 1976.Which includes winter months.

Hi Kpnut The supermarkets will sell you water in big containers and deliver to your boat. luckily i have a well so that enables me to extract up too 11 cubic meters of water a day with out any restrictions. John

LOL. I'm sure they will. I don't even buy a 500ml bottle of water from supermarkets!!!

This thread has devolved into a load of rubbish - there isn't a hosepipe ban and even if there were, they won't ban boatowners from using them for boats nor stop people being sensible.

There - thats the answer to the OP!!!

I’m sorry I asked! It was just a general question as to how it impacted on boat waterfills, if it were ever to be the case. I was just curious and thought a few people would have had experience from past years.
