Ray
What does everyone do with their old fenders, no one wants to buy them but it seems dreadful to send them to landfill.
CambridgeCabby
I used mine as fixed fenders on my mooringΒ 1
Ray
I could possibly use some that way soon as I'm moving moorings soon π
Wussername
Clean them would be good.
Ray
No problem cleaning them but seems a shame to use the chemicals if they end up in landfill anyway. Wrong size and colour for current boat but I guess I can keep them on the off chance I change boats again in the futureΒ

Wussername
The fender is very important. Underestimated. Its size, its shape, its position on your boat is so relevant with regard to the well being of your boat. And your anxieties. Imagine, boats colliding, perhaps an arm, a hand, a leg, or the boat hook. Not for me. Never ever. Two, three tons of boat on collision.Β The fender. As used by lifeboat crews, as used by wherry skippers, as used by those of an understanding of the tragic circumstances caused by those who fend off with an arm, a leg, a boat hook.

Guest281222
Hello Ray, if you are not wanting any money for your fenders I have been told that zoo's are greatful for fender donations to use as toys for the monkeys and goats and such.Β Could be worth a call as a different way to recycle your old fenders 4
