Jbx5
Had the the boat 12 months and realised yesterday I don’t know what the middle switch on photo is for on the dash panel. Help please, probably just having a brain freeze😂 John
Salmar
At a guess, it’s the dashboard gauge illumination 😬
kpnut
Hi Sally , did you mean to send this reply to me? 😁 I don’t know what it is I’m afraid. Kate just realised it was on open forum, not a PM. Ha ha ha. And sorry.
FlyingFortress
Has me beat you but would guess dash illumination as well.
Meantime
I believe it is a Carling Switch, but the symbol doesn't match any of the standard legend codes. Possibly the closest is PG which I assume is rev limiter. Carling do however allow people to specify custom symbols, so it might be worth an email to them and see if it is one they have supplied before and if they know what the legend is. www.carlingtech.com RockerSwitchLegends.pdf

OldBerkshireBoy
Switch for fish finder, depth gauge or similar. As said Carling switch and Brian Ward sell them.

Meantime
The Water one doesn't appear on the Carling Standard Legends sheet either, so I think they have been custom labelled.
Regulo
If the boat has nav lights, and if it's instrument illumination, it may be active only when the nav lights are on i.e. you can switch the instrument illumination off.
