loribear Posted May 10, 2013 Share Posted May 10, 2013 yes they do nest in some funny places do'nt they ? lol ,you should ave seen what i saw the other day, some blue tits going into a cat box outside, which was the size of a small kennel, for the fur, luckily for them, we'd had to ave suki put to sleep poor thing, as she'd had 2 seizures & we thought it was for the best, it was almost like they knew that she'd gone , or they could've been dead dickies lol. lori Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We're really disappointed this year, the great tits that nested with us the last 2 years have gone elsewhere, the female roosted in the box since late last year until about 3 weeks ago then hasn't returned although they both still visit the garden. ranworthbreeze Posted June 12, 2013 Share Posted June 12, 2013 Hello Trev,I take it that this first brood fell out of the nest!Very good pictures by the way.When we were on the Falkirk Wheel a few weeks ago a pair of pigeons had made a roost in amongst the pumps and hydrolics that control the seal of the top section of the wheel.
