SPEEDTRIPLE
Where was she hauled out?. I remember her being for hire for many years as a houseboat at Martham, was she still there, and is that where she`s been taken out?. They also had one called "Bramble" which had all her superstructure painted white, does anybody know what happened to her, i assumed she seccumbed to the dreaded rot, and was broken up?. jeffbroadslover
I did not know there had been a problem. Where and when did it happen and does anyone know why yet?

Hockham Admiral
That's maybe a bit cynical, Clive? If a new wooden boat is looked after properly then won't it last just as long as a 'glass one?

Yes cynical, but anything can be rebuilt. A wooden boat is something you manage depending on how much money you have to spend on it. (All my 'private fleet are wooden)

C.Ricko
I have a wood burner in Broadsventure just to keep her on her toes,! Can anyone remember 'Anna Capri' (I think) she was a HDML moored near Acle or Stokesby, It looked like the owner gradually dismantled her and kept warm while doing so!!
