NorfolkNog
Not over the moon with the Ferry and New Inn but Swan is not too bad, remembered to ask for the sparkler to be removed. Lovely and warm too (the pub not the beer)

NorfolkNog
Thanks Simon Getting a signal on the Broads has been particularly difficult this week for some reason. Best bet has been to hook up to WiFi in the pubs hence the slightly beer bias in the posts (that's my excuse anyway)
BroadScot
Hi Howard, If the tides have been low, then your dongle signal will not be as good I would hazzard a guess. Iain.

SPEEDTRIPLE
As usual Howard, your holiday tales are not strictly "holiday tale" are they?. More like another "Howards pub cruises" cheersbar : . Seriously though Howard, some great pics there, and some really good info regarding pubs some of us might not know about. Personally, being allergic to alcahol, i`m more interrested in the food side of things, because this May, we`re bringing Karens mum and dad on Lightning, so appreciate all the pics and info. mate.
NorfolkNog
Thanks for the kind comments folks. I've taken more photos with the camera which are not uploaded yet. I'll try to do a bit more of a proper write up later although not Robin standard. Here's a couple of Potter pics to be going on with

NorfolkNog
For you Grace, your wish is my command. X No probs, just need to get the camera sorted in a day or two. I've been booting with a vengeance this week after meeting the main man on Monday

SPEEDTRIPLE
Howard, do you only hire out of season?, as whenever you post up pics etc, it`s always out of season.
NorfolkNog
Hi Neil We do like to hire out of season as it is so quiet and peaceful as the thread suggests! We do try to hire in May or early June if we can as it is still fairly peaceful and the the weather is usually pretty good. I really wouldn't fancy being out during July, August or Bank Holidays!!! :-o
GeoffandWendy
Nice photo at Potter, so peaceful, just the bridge and not a boat in site. Thank you for sharing your pub crawl with us Howard!
BroadScot
Just looked at the bridge pic again, the water level looks low enough to get a few boats through just now? Did you check the height of it Howard ? Iain.
Gracie
I do envy Howard for going out of season, we've been late October a couple of times before the kids came along, the Autumn colours and the peace and quiet was unforgettable will definitley be going out of season when the kids are off hand, when's the earliest you can kick them out, about 12 years do you reckon? Having said that I do enjoy the silly season, boot and people watching (or gongoozling as Alan R/B puts it) is a damn good sport, not forgetting the deck totty, men should be banned from helming with their shirts off Lol Grace
Broads01
I'm good with the busy times too. I love watching all the boaty goings on. I also like quiet waters out of season but I've never fancied winter cruising because of the cold (especially at night) and limited daylight hours. It's nearly spring though and it's light for longer so I can certainly see the appeal.
