If I understand you correctly you want your pick-up serviced whilst in the UK. I don't know of any GMC dealers in the Norfolk area. There is a garage in Lowestoft called Cyprus Auto Services that specialises in the more exotic motors and is a business that I trust but it is some 45k from your boat yard.

Thank you I will phone them..but IAW the WEB they are working on BMW or Porsche....

No Jokes is that exotic Motors ? Honestly I am just asking may be I have to put my question right ... here in Germany this is

daily busines.

I have to  learn a lot

Cyprus are competent engineers who would only tackle your pick-up if they felt up to it & had suitable resources available. Also I think that they could advise you if it is outside their sphere of ability. You can only ask.

Jeep were Chrysler, not GM, who after being dumped by their last owners Daimler Benz are now owned by Fiat.

The new Jeep Renegade is a Fiat 500X with a biscuit tin body.

Some Chrysler compacts are sold as Lancia  in Italy and other countries.

The problem you have is that GMC don't sell in the UK market because of the left / right hand drive issue so you will not find genuine dealer support. Most decent mechanics should be able to do any general work, the mechanicals on GMC trucks are fairly basic.

If you need engine diagnostic works then a Vauxhall main dealer should be able to help as the Diagnostic System used is common across the General Motors group. You may also find the system at some independent garages as it is distributed by Bosch as part of their multi manufacturer diagnostic systems.

Parts can be a problem, as the platform (chassis, brakes, steering, suspension etc) and Engine are both US based and never came to the UK, unlike many US vehicles that share components with other manufacturers sold in the UK. Most of the parts for my old Yukon came from The Netherlands.

As the result of an acquisition in the very early 80's, I inherited two Bedford TMs fitted with two stroke Detroits. Really strange trucks as unlike the norm they revved like a car. Their horrendous consumption sentenced them to the auctions at Frimley.

Somewhere on Youtube is a Defender dragging a Dodge Ram backwards in a tug of war.

The most Rams in Europe just got 2 Wheel Drive and may be the 5.7 l engine just around 300 bhp.. I think nearly every of the Land Rover will pull this Car.. BTW The Land- and Range Rover cars are really good ones IMHO
