Hi Mike, Welcome to the NBN Forum With regards to your questions, our members have answered them for you. As HA says, enjoy your holiday, and leave the appliances and cable at home. Iain
  7. Just think, without the Barnes Brinkcraft web cam, there is a strong possibility we would never have known about said boat stuck under the bridge. The good news is, no reported serious damage done, and the crew were able to enjoy the rest of their holiday, hopefully. However, if we had had the old Hotel Wroxham cam, oh what fun we could have been discussing ! Iain
  8. The mature pilot is very sedate in taking the boats through. However, yes, the young big built lad, does take them through, full pelt. Iain

  13. Having seen some weird and wonderful Marine lecky wiring, if I was still gainfully employed - I have worked on coastal bulk carriers - I would leave boat wiring to them, each to their own section of the trade. IMHO. That does not mean, if I could give advice, I would certainly try and help out. Iain

  18. Sounds about right, Howard. Police station or bank used to be next to the gate I think. With my old legs being what they are, I have not been up the hill for a few years. When the Swan was just a pub, we won the quiz there several times - it does help with two teachers in the team - on our return to Astons on our last evening afloat. Iain
  19. Hi Marina, If you can still walk through the old Aston yard and take their road out, it helps make it a gentler climb up the hill. Iain
