  5. There was a short insert into my home town of Ayr tonight on the news, with old archive b&w silent film. Before you lot say you never thought I was THAT old, nope twas twelve years later I had the chance to see such places. Interestingly I had forgot that the Irish Steamer came into the harbour every big race meeting! I watched the film in the hope I may have seen my father in it !   12. Hi Neil, Unless the weather takes a turn for the worse, and the tide is higher than normal, to use a pun, you should sail through Wroxham Bridge with the pilot. If there is any doubt, they would not let you go in the first place. Great yard you are with, and a well turned out boat for sure. Have a great holiday, with pics and tale afterwards, please! Iain

  15. Our corgi lay under my feet when I was at the helm. He did not like swans though! Short as the legs were, he would try and get out of the centre cockpit in an Aston Norwich class to have words with said swans ! Iain

  19. Nah Neil, each to their own. I have driven round the IOM TT course and decided the bikers were mad! I never got above 60mph!.....in a Morris Marina ! Now that was crap! Worst car I have ever driven. Iain
