Hi Monica,
Living in Troon we are use to lots of windy days, but these latest blasts have been on the severe side. Getting in and out the car has been a bit of a challenge at times. The Renault Scenic has BIG doors so catches the wind very easily.
Hopefully these are the equinoxes last blast, but i doubt it very much.

I do believe I may have frequented this establishment many years ago in Dublin!
It reminds me very much of The Crown in Belfast, yet another place I have been in on many occasion when working in Belfast.

Three I can think of Neil, one in London that was the Olympic one, the Manchester commonwealth one, and up here Glasgow's built for the games here, and named after Chris Hoy.
I could go political on this subject, very easily, but, both you and I know, that is not on

His silent fireworks on Guy Fawkes day, was clever. He was my broadcaster to work for many years. I saw him playing golf at Turnberry in the BBC series. Who can ever forget the putt he sank on the 18th green at Gleneagles. RIP Sir Terry.
They have all weather courts here in Troon tennis club. I have seen kids knocking up or whatever they call it in December! I think Paul you make a very valid point, but the Murray's gave up a hellova lot, especially Andy, to get to where they are today.

With Gordon Reid winning the men's wheelchair singles, Jamie Murray winning the doubles, it must be our wonderful weather up here that produces all these brill tennis players Come on Andy tomorrow!!!

Mark, Scoot remains in the boot of the car at all times. The garden hut was five gardens down, and was not in the best of condition. This morning it's heavy hailstorm and a leaden sky!

On a very good low water day, Mark, the best I have seen at Wayford is 7ft3" Like your thinking about a convertible though, save Clive the trouble and man hours!
As Dave says, space for three boats just before the bridge.
