  1. I’m minding my own business cooking some bacon when I disturbed by a head floating past my cockpit window!!
  2. Here you go - https://www.offshore-energy.biz/engineers-amazed-at-underwater-painting/ and https://alocitsystems.com/ To be fair it's more epoxy than paint but still impressive, struggling to find a price though....
  3. He will be in that general area after trying out his new paddle board!
  4. That's the entertainment sorted for the NBN meet !
  5. It beggars belief the BA had these signs made up without even checking they are correct and follow the guidelines. Surely they must know several people would be logging onto Google minutes after they appeared?
  6. Whereabouts are you? I’m at the end of the.24hr moorings near the willow tree!
  7. Lots of claps and cheers, tempted to shoot through the bridge now and take a bow!! 🤣
  8. 1st one just went past me at Potter at 11:10, followed by a couple more 2 minutes later. I’m waiting for it to warm up a little before setting off in my dinghy!
  9. Spotted you going past St Benets while I was prepping my weekend fry up!
  10. I've been out and about most weekends, flying the flag, meeting new people, gate crashing party's and boat parades etc from Potter up to Coltishall. This weekend I'll head towards the St Benets / Fleet Dyke area for tonight and hopefully Potter by mid morning. As the weather is looking good the plan is to take the dinghy through the bridge and do some exploring for a few hours. The following weekend is the NBN meet which I'm really looking forward to, followed by 4 days at work and then 10 days off work where I'll be heading down south.
  11. I’m hoping to be in Potter mid morning on Saturday, was planning on taking the dinghy through the bridge for a few hours. Have to dodge this lot now!
  12. My local The Swan Inn Stalham is really good, Norfolk pub of the year in 2022. Sadly no website just on Facebook.
  13. I’ve been rafting up on Malthouse Broad and then we decided to gate crash the Horning boat Parade thingy. It’s blooming hot! I’ll be heading back up the Ant tomorrow so hopefully give you a wave!
  14. Water levels are quite low so there maybe enough margin to cope with the rain. https://check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/station/6211 0.38 is 6ft9, the lower the number the more clearance.
  15. As I was passing this morning I managed to find 2 entrances, however you cannot see anything else from the river as it's heavily wooded. The first or top one could probably be explored a short way by dinghy or canoe but the second looked fairly well blocked by undergrowth.
  16. No idea, but I’m trying to do my part, currently in the Red Lion at Coltishall !
  17. I'd give them even more credit if they fitted enough serviceable batteries and a means to charge them with around 4 hours running. Some if the boats have not been out of the water over winter and look knackered already!
  18. I'm guessing yours is a size 4? There's a table with sizes and fender socks here - https://www.piratescave.co.uk/fendequip-anchor-marine-standard-fender-covers.html?id=261643064
  19. I'll have room onboard as well if any landlubbers want to join in with the CinC.
  20. Oppy the rescue dog, sadly my ex has him but I still get to see him. He did have a life jacket but didn’t like it and chewed through the straps!!
  21. I left Warwick about 6:45 this evening and was back on board by 9:30, not much traffic for a bank holiday weekend! I noted they were still working on the A11 roadworks late on a Friday. Wonder if they are running late? Mud weighted on Barton by 10:30pm!
  22. I've got fairy lights! Off to Amazon for some bunting now!
  23. I noticed the cafe next to the hotel Wroxham has stopped some hot food due to energy costs. Plus they have a lot of competition in Hoveton. Anyway, where are you off to today CeePee?
