    Hathor

Yes I checked the website, but nothing corresponded; the evening sailing, advance camera boat and team aboard looked like a TV arrangement to me, and a special outing for the purpose. Hathor isn't back at base, however and Peter was out on Olive yesterday so she must be on show somewhere.

    Hathor

It was so lovely to see Hathor crewed and sailing last week, I was really sad when she sank a while back. There was a fairly big camera and sound crew in attendance; anyone know why by any chance?
  3. I can be as brave as a lion with spiders as long as I am wearing a pair of marigolds
  4. We'd love to but have to go home on the Saturday to get the cat out of Colditz on Sunday.

    3 Signal

The 3 mast at Wroxham is fubar at present, work has been going on since June 19th and it is due back in service on August 10th . I am posting this from Lord Paul's boat at Sutton, I have treated Phill to a day's photography course. Sorry Ray I didn't shout hello was a bit dozy when you came by.
  6. That is just a way of sleeping in mud I think.
  7. No it isn't allowed on the Broads I believe.
  8. Um...? If you are night fishing don't you stay awake?
  9. Yes you are right, I spoke to Jason today. Hopefully he will be sailing Brilliant one day 2nd week in August
  10. Hope they raise the issues fairly.

    Boat alarm

    I like Warp's idea best....
  12. Iain, I had Open Office a few years ago, but didn't really like it, mainly the presentation software wasn't up to what I wanted for business. Jonzo , we have a ZX 81 somewhere.
  13. You are right Jonathan, Outlook is stripped out but I can buy it for £95 (not)!
  14. I bought Office 13 and installed it, but no Outlook which is a conundrum, maybe it's because it's the home/student version. Never had this happen before.....
  15. hmmmm. Iain, does Outlook appear in any of the 10 upgrade?
  16. I downloaded AVG Registry thing, it looked a bit more focused than Malware and I didn't want to interfere with a new Mc Affee install. It found oodles of issues, sorted them all. Thanks for the steer. Is the sodding thing any faster? ...Actually 'no! ' Now that is good in that the decision to get a new machine for the business is validated, and bad in that I still have uses for the other one, and....it does irritate me.
  17. Hi Jonathan, I decided against 365 and bought a one time paid Office 13, so no Outlook, but I am not going to have an annual subscription to pay. Iain, I will check out cleaning the registry, I have done everything else I can think of.
  18. Oops yes 8.1 not 2. I am running Windows 7 on my older machine and may not upgrade that. However that one runs so slowly these days that it hurts(!), have de fragged, scanned and disk cleaned within an inch of its life and it's still slow, hence the new one. If I had the cash, I'd get a Mac
  19. I just spent hours trying to work out why I couldn't send a file directly from office in emails as I am used to doing. A call to P C World revealed that MS Mail, unlike Outlook won't do that. 8.2 doesn't offer Outlook (flipping annoying!).
  20. Good question Jill. I am going for 10 on my 8.2 because 8.2 is crap. My real concern is whether, having installed it, it turns out to be a 'subscription' and not the free gift they claim.
