  1. The trip boats out of Wroxham always use the left/right signals, but yes, I do wonder if many people know what they mean, other than 'Big boat moving ' We have a horn, as I said, but can't recall ever sounding it except for practice.
  2. Bridges apart, one blast for starboard, two for port, three for reverse, five for 'I am unsure of your intentions' aka 'What the !! are you doing?' We have a brass horn and our lungs on Brilliant!
  3. Brilliant will be about from midweek for a few days, so we will look out for you.
  4. I have a nice green 106 Monica and love it too. Bought new in 2002
  5. Mail is a pathetic mess. I store work emails in folders normally. It won't let me do this, MS are aware this is a problem and are 'looking into it' Hell's bells, are they recruiting foetuses there? That function is standard business reqirement!
  6. Congratulations ! I agree about Tenby, do visit Manorbier too.
  7. It's that renewable thingy innit?
  8. If you need to ask, you can't afford it?
  9. I flag people who are throwing a considerable wake, not otherwise. Personally, I wouldn't report them unless there was a dangerous incident. The ones mentioned above subsequently threw Brilliant about, we were under way and she weighs 4 tons.
  10. We waved down a couple of speeding boats on the Bure recently. The helms seemed to have no understanding of why we were signalling a slow down.
  11. I would have a Wherry if I was a very wealthy person, oh yes indeed! Obviously biased here in favour of rag 'n' stick, but stinky-wise, I don't think Hamptons or Hardys could be left out of consideration.....we could tow a saily .....
  12. Hello and welcome. We met Swift 18 regular visitors from Cumbria a few years ago.
  13. Hello and hope the family enjoy the trip.
  14. Definitely faked! Even the Top Gear trio would draw the line at going swimming every time you wanted to enter/exit .
