If you could time travel where ,when would you travel .I would go to Egypt to watch the Pyramids being built.The Grand cannon and LV.Flying over the the cannon was truely breathe taking.If I went back I would fly inverted.Also Niagara falls.Again what an amazing place.The broads no I am lucky and see the broads many times during the year.Now where's my sonic screwdriver. Last Monday,Marina had a op on her wrist for carpal tunnel. Today we did the shopping at Morrison's and Sainsbury's. We did so by bus and a cab.We got water for me,Marina said get some for CC(one of our cats).I got another bottle.No she said Evian.Thats the same water as our daughter drinks.Back home showing put away.Then out to the chemist for dressings for Marina.While she was there I went to Sainsbury's to get wait for it frozen cod for poppy our other cat.She don't like Morrisons fish.We used to have a rabbit she liked rocket.once I was going to have some,no that's for the rabbit. I know where I am in the picking order.Sadly I don't drive cars only boats. Ian .

I agree most skippers of sailing boats,will be clear telling you which way to go.I always enjoy boating around sailing boats.

Hi and welcome Karrass.Thwre are plenty of places to stop,Many of them are BA moorings.I understand you don't drink but many pubs offer very good food.If you are new to boating say north,however the South is a great place to visit. Just take it easy and see how it goes.I would suggest to make life easier go with the tide. Ian

As far as I know The Kings troop do the same.A great trip for the Horses and men.My Grand Father was In the Royal Horse Artillery,during the first world war.In fact his horse saved his life.He was due to meet up somewhere. A few mistakes,should read lost there love.

As many of you know I'm a chef and have been for over 40 years.Just a little insight into my life.At present I am working in a high profile city location. This kitchen has many problems.Many chefs have left over the past 7 months.I am in charge of the evening shift which should have 4 chefs.At present there is myself and one other chap also one other on overtime.What has cheered me up is the other chef has improved no end . As this business is not high paid unless you are a high profile chef.I am pleased that I have passed on some of my knowledge. That makes up for the lack of pounds.Sadly over the years I have worked with 20,30 year olds that gave list there live for cooking.Often I have been fed up etc,but never lost my love for trying to produce good food.Its what keeps me going.Why working in hot/cold kitchens.Suffering from cuts/burns.All I need is a good day (like today)That's all I want.So the next time you call into a pub,restaurant,cafe just remember what I said.We do what we do not always for money,but because we love cooking. I think you have it spot on,each year we come across stages and hens often.For the most part there is just light hearty fun.For sure if they over step the mark,it must be dealt with.Newspapers and the press have a duty to get a balance. Sadly they go over the top.

I do not wish to see same sex ,stags or hens banned from the broad.Have fun and banter by all means,just respect others.When it gets out of hand it needs to be dealt with.Stuart is correct Norwich weekends is sometimes like the wild west,most groups do respect others.Sadly it is the few that give the rest a bad name.If I saw something that was unacceptable I would report.
