It's still there.Yes there are some that don't, wont help.At present we are moored at Stacey arms.Marina noticed a boat in front of us.I went to help.Before I got there they had managed to tie up.About 5 minutes later they walked past.He said thanks for checking to see if we were okay,then as a thank you gave me some photos of the Red Arrows.
  2. I agree it's part of boating.Some times I go a bit far.The other year I helped a boat at Reedman ferry inn and one leg went in the water.Some people don't there not perhaps into boating as such Ian

  12. Carole The other week we saw about 3 between Brundall and Surlingham.Indeed if you were there you would have seen 4 (Sweetkingfisher).

  15. All in all I love mooring at Brundall,it's a good base for us about 2 and half hours from home.In the main peaceful interesting on Hand over.For sure if I had the money I would buy A bigger boat,but would try to get the most out of the boat.For fun I would like a RIB

  17. We have four years left to work then we intend to move to Norfolk. Nice riverside house with moorings.Can dream.Cliff we are moored at Cove Brundall. Will be up for two weeks from next Saturday.

  19. By an large its people on gin palaces moored at Brundall. If like me you take the boat out at weekends.You will see them on boats. A few days later they will still be there.the hulls in the main are white.Now and again they do move off,then the fun begins.Thats the Brundall Navy.
  20. That's the great thing about food and drink.Its often the whole thing.It may not be the food and drink,but that helps.Often the setting the people and the reason you are there.Sometimes even cheap plonk can taste like the best if the setting is good.

  22. When we first arrived we went to one of the houses that supplied us and the house of lords.They gave us all there Champagne from the basic to there most expensive,followed by a buffet,brill

Very rock and roll.But then you let it down with the mug.As I worked in two it has to be The Savoy and the Berekley hotels.A Resturant in France can't remember the time,Reims.My company tock us over for the weekend and we went to top Champagne houses.Marina and I had a meal,Fillet steak,red wine and truffle sauce.Close second a few years back in Switzerland,Swiss onion soup,spiced belly pork on soft polenta and creme brulee.On the broads the White horse Neatishead and the New Inn Horning.
