True but we start buying small bits for Christmas. Much earlier then November and hopefully get Christmas shopping done by the end of November .

I've never seen so much.thats perhaps only a quarter of the stuff.And much of which not cheap.

Today Marina and I went to Highway, part of Roy's. Lots and lots of Christmas stuff.Highwas is a garden centre .Shop and cafe .It's close to Loddon. Then we went to the garden centre at Salhouse. First time there.Very nice good selection of crafts,local foods and wines and beers.We had lunch. Some photos of Roy's.

Feeling a bit tired. Helped out with the boys and girls at Hemsby Lifeboat, Fireworks last night.A good but busy night.Think we did well very big crowd.Think we fed all of Hemsby,Caister,Martham and perhaps parts of GY.This afternoon atTesco Caister selling Poppy's. Busy, enjoyable weekend and I'm always glad to help when I can.

We have been on the mincepies for a few weeks now.Marina has been buying Christmas German biscuits as well.Her mum was German.Alan is going to Germany for the markets. Merry Christmas one and all.

Very sad news today,Sir Bobby passed away aged 86.One of the truly greats of the game.Among the many highlights of his career. Winning the Champions league ,in 1968.And of course the world Cup in 1966. My thoughts with his family and friends. RIP Sir Bobby. 🙏

We've just got back from Potter for breakfast. Very busy there.lots of Christmas stuff in Lathams!

Went via Ambulance into JP last night.Breathing poor.Lots of tests.The Doctor saw me early hours.put me back on antibiotics and steroids and said I could go home.If after 5 days I still feel unwell then to go back to A&E.Okay who have I upset?

I had problems accessing my just giving page. In the end some how I set up two pages.Just giving.Have an help line,but only via on line.Unable to speak on the phone.Thats why in the end sadly I cancelled.I will try again next year.Providing I'm well enough.

Today I should have had a coffee morning at home in aid of Macmillan. Sadly I cancelled last month. Had a problem with the tec So I hope to have better luck next year.Perhaps Alan can help I have managed to donated £50.plus again recently I've not been well Macmillan nurses have given Marina and myself,lots of support, and the help and support line has been very useful.

I think there needs to be a complete overall of pricing.Including tolls,hire charges,mooring fees etc.Theres no doubt,cost of living has had a very big part in less people visiting the broads.Is the broads and indeed is Norfolk and Suffolk promoting enough?.Tonight there's a series on Channel 5 ,which started last week.Which I think is very good.Perhaps more programs like this may help. There seems to be countless programs about Devon and Cornwall which goes a long way in promoting both county's. If done in a sympathetically way that may help.Its no good just promoting the broads as a National Part.Its like saying we do really good food.Then not seeing any food.

Today went to a garden centre.Car temp 31c under cover in some parts of the garden centre. Must have been 35/36c
