  12. In the interests of accuracy the Jägermeister actually dropped into a glass of energy drink commonly RedBull they are quite delicious. [emoji12] I've never heard of it with beer. Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
  13. I am a fan of the Tequila Slammer! I'd like think i could get one in a pub. Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app
  14. I was in the Dog on Good Friday this year and there was group of lads in there, they were hammered and very noisey and had also been harassing some female patrons including my partner in crime. They ended up in the pool room and mostly kept in there I spoke to a chap as he was coming out of the loo but he couldn't actually talk by then! I felt sorry for the staff as they had their attention on the CCTV and this group. It didn't upset our night overall and staff were on top of things. I could understand how it would upset those that were less used to rowdy pubs. On balance it sounds like a good move. That being said its a pain to enforce. In London where such groups are banned you normally find bouncers and I'd hate to see this on the Broads.
  15. Hello all, I've just booked a night on a Hunters boat through AirBnB it's static in their boat yard which is probs for the best as I've not sailed since a school trip 20 years ago! this is with a mate we usually camp but I've been banging on about the broads for ages so we though we have a change. Has anyone else tried this? Any thoughts?
  16. Welcome! Great holiday choice, for my 1st time i enjoyed using a tide chart and distance/time chart to plan a route! It all went out the window when we got there and everyone just wanted to go fishing all the time! But it was a fun exercise! Sent from the Norfolk Broads Network mobile app

  22. At the end of the day we're in a capitalist society! Rick and the Farmer have something that is worth money to people who want to use it. Our society would dictate they try and make as much money as possible. Lucky for us boaters making money involves providing food drink and a good service with somewhere nice to enjoy it! Crack on i say!
  23. £5 - £8 sounds reasonable for the location. You could probs up it a bit if redeemable against stuff in the pub. Look at Stracey Arms £5 nothing to redeem against and a poorer location (in my humble opinion)
