And now we are headed north. We got to Reedham and the high tide seemed very low so ai rang GT Yarmouth Yacht Station and they advised that this afternoos low tide was probably going to be lower than forecast so we went to the Berney Arms and rang them an hour before low water. I just woke up to another beautiful day ? As usual at the start of a holiday I have an itchy a#*e and can't stay in one place too long but luckily Deb's send to be catching it e.g. yesterday we arrived at Norwich Yacht Station with plans to stay the night. While we were eating a late lunch in the Compleat Angler we decided it was too early to moor for the night so we headed back here via a stop at Whitlingham to put the canopy back up and have a short siesta. Plans for the day? None other than relax and see where the river takes us ?

Sorry I've been a bit slack with the pictures and stuff but here we are moored tonight at the Ferry Inn Last night we were at Loddon. When we get somewhere with a decent 4G signal I’ll upload more pics

Tomorrow we are starting 2 weeks on Ranworth Breeze. This will be the first time I've ever spent longer than a short break or one week holiday on the Broads. We plan to spend a week down South and then head North for the spring meet. The weather forecast looks reasonable, the tides ok for a trip north although we will have to head back a bit early. Bring it on ?

I don't know about boats but when flying 'night' is 20 mins after sunset

I used to use Google maps all the time but then I found that just as you got to a complicated junction or near you destination the phone would ring. My 'always connected' TomTom is the dog's doo-dahs

What I don't understand is why have a visitor centre at Acle? It's hardly the most attractive part of the Broads is it?

The only place I read real books now is in the bath. Others I read on my phone. It means if I have to wait anywhere I always have my book with me plus it's backlit so I can read in bed without a light on :)
