Today (And a few days before) I have been tiling a bathroom for an elderly couple.  Th husband is not steady on his feet, I've had to pick him up once already, anyroadup, this afternoon I heard the lady of the house in the lounge muttering    'OMG OMG, I don't believe it'   There's me thinking something not good had occurred and was waiting for her to appear at the bathroom door (It's a bungalow) which she duly did.  'Yes?' I enquired.  She stated she had finally lost it and all was now lost completely.  'What's happened'? I enquired

She said   ''I have just been trying to ring my sister, 3 x times I tried, each time I put the number in and 3 x times no ring tone or ringing sound, then I realised I was using the remote for the TV'

Laugh?  Me?  You bet I did and so did she!

That happened to a chap I was told of ages ago now, only he burnt both ears, he burnt his other ear when phoning for the ambulance!
