Thanks for the photos. I’m thankful it’s not snow and ice in the run up to Christmas but flooding is presenting its own challenges for some people trying to get around.

Hi Sam,

How is the ground over where we used to moor. We always  worried about the possibility of flooding at this time of the year especially as we were on a fixed pontoon but were assured that it never happened.

We didn’t have a look over there but I’m fairly certain that area would have been fine.  We couldn’t have got our dog on board. It was a real struggle to clamber up on the boat for us!

This was  ‘you know where’ this afternoon. Lovely sunny day for a change. A couple of hundred yards away on our mooring completely dry (on the roadway!).
